This was our second visit to Middelshire B&B and it was just like coming home to see old friends! We chose different rooms this time just to mix up the experience and they did not disappoint! Very comfortable and clean with a touch of Middle Earth and the Shire! The best morning was when I came down for breakfast and found my three kids sitting at the breakfast bar talking to Adina & John as they made breakfast – goes to show just how comfortable and homey this B&B is! We had a girls getaway at the Middelshire and it was a perfect place to do this. John and Adina were amazing hosts. They are friendly, warm and so flexible. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them and they make you feel right at home. The rooms and amenities in the house are spacious and clean. There are lots of places to spread out and relax outside of your room and great outdoor space as well. The breakfast was delicious every morning and lots of flexibility on when you want to have it. The rates are very reasonable and Merrickville is just a short drive away. I have stayed in lots of B&Bs over the years but few would compare to this one. I do hope I have the privilige of staying again.

We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool. THey also have a sauna and hot tub. We had comfortable accommodations. We were in the suite with a closed in balcony. Had we wished, at least one of us could have slept there. We were asked our likes and dislikes for breakfast, and found the fruit and quiche very good. They are great hosts , making us feel comfortable with other guests. We have been there before for our anniversary, returning again for it this year. There is a games room library and outdoor games. It is decorated with medieval touches to represent their name. I especially enjoyed looking at the paintings on the wall.

We would highly recommend this bed & breakfast. The hosts John & Adina were absolutely amazing. They went out of their way to help us feel “at home”. Breakfasts were very tasty, the suite we had was large with a very comfortable bed. I look forward to visiting Middelshire again.

We had a marvelous time at Middelshire. Adina and John gave us a warm welcome. The rooms were clean and very spacious. We had a good night sleep because of the great bed and the silent environment. On top of it a wonderful breakfast. Only 8 minutes driving from Merrickville! A real treat!! WE will vissit Middelshire again when we pass by.

My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding. We were greeted when we arrived at 2:00 am! Our bags were brought in for us and the room was set up with rose petals, beautiful roses and champagne with glasses labeled bride & groom. Our room was spotless – so clean! The next morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. This place far exceeded any expectations that we had! I would whole-heartedly recommend this place to anyone!
